This is an entry to recognize a top caregiver in the industry, submitted by Steve at MB HomeCare in Maryland. Please join us is recognizing a care job well done.
Alisa has been the primary caregiver for her client for over two years. In July, Alisa needed to have her knee replaced. This caused Alisa to stay home to rehab her knee and unable to be with her client. During absence of Alisa the client began displaying sluggish behavior and overall health seemed to be going downhill. Our weekly client reports continued to reflect less than average behavior and health. It was evident that the client was heading downhill and feeling the effect of not having her favorite caregiver. In October, Alisa returned to the client full time and since then the client has made a complete recovery and is back to her old self. There is a special bond between the client and caregiver that goes beyond the hours of a shift.
