Catherine has worked for Right at Home since 2015. However, her professional caregiving career spans well over a decade. She is a Certified Nursing Assistant and a Certified Home Health Aide here in Massachusetts. He is also specially trained in hospice care, Alzheimer’s disease and dementia care, Parkinson’s disease and is often put on our most acute and complex caregiving cases. Since she joined our organization, Catherine has always been considered someone special.
She treats all of her clients and their families like they are her only priority, her only patient, while in reality Catherine continuously cares for 10-12 patients per week at various stages of life. She demonstrates compassion and understanding for our clients at every visit with her calm, reassuring presence.
Her clients always request to have her come back, and generally cancel visits if Catherine will not be available for the day (something that is a testament to the relationships she builds and the service she provides). Catherine holds quite the impressive resume and prior to working for our agency, has held jobs in many skilled care settings including hospital’s, rehab’s, and other home care agencies. Catherine has acquired many important skills from his experiences in the health field that help her in her current role including, patience, kindness, compassion, knowledge, empathy and more.
